I think not, and you sure can't prove that anybody did something incorrectly because this is crap you usually have to listen to from most corporations customer support. not need it for Redneck Rampage, but you will in the other Build Games. So now it doesn't work because I'm at fault, too?

Ever since I haven't tried to install it again. I followed these instructions with Blood, twice, didn't work for me either. See steps 4 and 7.ĭo not complain about things not working when you did not follow the directions correctly.

It's quite simple, really: you must patch the exe with cli2nop as per the instructions on to proceed any further. I don't care if you think cli2nop isn't working - that means you are using it incorrectly. No, the problem is that you aren't following directions. I suppose that means I guessed correctly. If you aren't doing this, guess what, you screwed it up and did not follow the instructions properly. You absolutely need to use cli2nop to patch the exe. Now tell me whats that "if you bother to configure it properly" VDM setup you speak off. Cli2nop does nothing for me, I ceased using it because it never did what it was supposed to do (and not, it's not rocket science, it simply doesn't work here with VDMSound). My guess is that you're just incapable of following instructions and neglected to run cli2nop or one of the other steps for getting BUILD games to run under XP.

VDMSound is laggy no matter the config and I don't know what you mean by "works great", because even on a 3.6ghz the sound is choppy as there was no VDM thing to "help".
